Generation Blue – For Schools
Generation Blue is One Ocean Planet’s flagship education programme.
It empowers schools to bring the ocean into the heart of learning — not as an extra subject, but as a way of seeing, thinking and acting.
It empowers schools to bring the ocean into the heart of learning — not as an extra subject, but as a way of seeing, thinking and acting.
Grounded in science, rooted in kindness, and focused on action, Generation Blue helps students understand their role in protecting our planet and inspires them to lead with courage and care.
Our Three Pillars
Climate
By connecting ocean science with climate change and planetary boundaries, students see how their choices and actions can help secure a safer, more resilient future.
Kindness
The emotional driver of the programme. Kindness cultivates empathy, resilience and collaboration — equipping students to care for each other and for the planet.
Ocean
The ocean is our greatest ally in restoring climate balance. Students explore Carlos Duarte’s Ocean Wedges and discover real-world solutions, from protecting habitats to rethinking materials.

OUR BADGES
Programme designed for schools, where students take part in a challenge inspired by the “wedges” of scientist Carlos Duarte. Through this experience, they learn about the vital role of the ocean, how to protect it, and how to take part in its restoration.
